Your water heater leaks:

1. Turn off cold water inlet valve.

2. Turn off gas supply valve if gas heater.

3. Turn off electrical supply if electric heater.

4. Attach drain hose to drain valve and drain tank.

Note: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THE ABOVE UNLESS YOU FEEL YOU ARE COMPETENT TO DO SO.
